Pastoral Care Program
The College places significant emphasis on our Pastoral Care Program based on the philosophy of Saint Marcellin Champagnat, founder of the Marist Brothers.
We offer a carefully structured system of pastoral care of which the key elements are:
Pastoral Care Teacher:
The Pastoral Care Teacher who works in partnership with the Year Coordinator, undertakes the pastoral care of students on a daily basis.
Year Co-ordinator:
The Year Coordinator maintains an overview of progress and provides the general care and organisation of each year group.
College Counsellor:
The College Counsellor is available to assist students in their personal and academic growth.
Campus Minister:
The Campus Minister provides a focus for the spiritual life of the staff and students.
Our pastoral care program has a strong commitment to promoting the pastoral care of each student by offering a supportive environment in which the students are encouraged to grow in self-discipline.
The underlying theme is respect for the individual, so that the qualities of each member of the College community are enhanced and the values of a Catholic Christian tradition are actively encouraged.
