YEARS 11 AND 12The transition to Senior Studies represents a pivotal moment in the life of our young people. Some students will have an idea of their career destination and others may be unsure or even confused. At Mt Maria College we are committed to assisting students and their families with this decision making so that each student will have a plan for their future. Senior Education and Training (SET) Planning is a partnership between the College, Student and the Student’s family. The SET Planning process at Mt Maria College has been set up to reflect the College’s Mission Statement. ‘Mt Maria College is a Catholic, co-educational secondary community which provides quality Christian education in the Marist tradition of love, compassion and inclusiveness. Through a holistic approach, it is our vision that students are well prepared for the demands of life’s many pathways. In the pursuit of excellence through individual application and fostering that attributes of a life long learner, we encourage students to grow in wisdom and knowledge as they take their place responsibly in today’s society.’ The College has developed customised course options to meet the needs of our students.
